Mid-market organisations face many of the same challenges as large enterprises in AI governance, supply chains, and leadership. What they often lack is the infrastructure and support to deal with them in a practical way.
Most frameworks available today are either too complex or too generic. They are designed for organisations with very different scales and resources. At the same time, many advisors bring either regulatory knowledge or operational experience, but rarely both. That leaves a gap between what is written in a policy and what actually works in day-to-day operations.
We are practitioners first. We have managed supply chains, built leadership teams, and worked closely with legal partners to navigate regulatory expectations. Today, our focus is increasingly on AI governance, shaped by hands-on operational experience and a practical understanding of how technology and governance need to work together.
Our focus is simple. Make governance workable. Deliver a transformation that works. Build capability that lasts.
SLC exists to make AI governance, supply chain transformation, and leadership capability building accessible and effective for mid-market organisations, without adding unnecessary complexity, cost, or dependency.
We diagnose before we prescribe. Every engagement begins with an evidence-based assessment of where the organisation actually stands and not where it assumes it stands across AI governance posture, supply chain risk, and leadership capability. What we find shapes everything that follows.
We build what holds. For AI Governance, every framework, operating model, and capability programme we deliver is aligned with the standards and jurisdictions that apply to your organisation, such as ISO 42001:2023, the EU AI Act, and the OECD AI Principles, and designed to hold under scrutiny from regulators, boards, and enterprise customers. We also know how supply chains actually work and how leadership teams actually function under pressure. That knowledge is built into everything we produce.
We transfer, not retain. Our measure of success is an organisation that no longer needs us to operate its governance, lead its supply chain transformation, or develop its people. We build for that outcome from day one.
No governance framework holds without the people behind it. No supply chain transformation sustains without the leaders who drive it. We have seen both fail, not because the frameworks were wrong or the transformation lacked strategy, but because the human dimension was treated as secondary. In the SLC 4P Framework™, People is first. Not by convention. By thirty years of observing what actually works.
Advisory without operational experience produces frameworks that look great on paper and fail in practice. The people at SLC have managed supply chains, navigated AI deployments in real organisations, and developed leadership teams across cultures and seniority levels. That experience shapes every engagement. It is the difference between advisory and compliance theatre.
The regulatory environment in Switzerland is not the regulatory environment in Shanghai. The supply chain challenges of a chemicals company are not the challenges of a consumer goods distributor. We do not apply the same framework to every client, because governance and transformation only work when they are built for the organisation they are meant to serve. ISO 42001 recognises this. So do we. It is why every SLC engagement begins with a diagnosis, not a template.
This is a rule, not a preference. We maintain a strict data boundary between client information and every AI-assisted tool in our practice. Governed by SLC internal policy document at SLC-POL-004. No exceptions.
Our core markets are Switzerland/Europe, APAC and the UAE/Middle East: the regions where our team has direct operational and cultural experience. Within these markets, we work with mid-market companies in consumer goods, pharma, chemicals and water treatment. We govern AI across all business functions as holistically as possible: supply chain, HR, customer-facing, finance, procurement, operations and logistics.
While our core services are centred in these regions, we leverage digital collaboration tools to serve clients worldwide, delivering strategic insights and practical solutions that transcend borders.
SLC uses AI tools for research synthesis and content development. We do not process client data through AI systems. Our own AI governance practices reflect the same standards we recommend to our clients.
